Replace water heater

Replace the water heater before it breaks! It is important that the water heater maintains good quality, and that it is replaced in time before it can cause water leakage.

We supply and install solid water heaters from Høiax and OSO - everything from small bench heaters to large combi heaters that supply the home with both tap water and waterborne heat. The old water heater you do not have to worry about. We empty it and take it with us when we have changed the water heater.

Expansion vessels should often be installed in connection with the water heater. Ask your plumber for guidance on finding a boiler with this integrated if you need it.

When should you change your water heater?

A water heater should be able to last for about 20 years before it should be replaced. Then we gladly recommend changing the boiler even if it works in good condition after 20 years. There are two reasons for this. One is that it can be very costly if the boiler breaks down and creates a leak. In addition, you will get a new water heater that keeps the heat better - and thus saves you extra electricity costs.

What type of water heater should I choose?

Ask our plumbers which water heater is right for your home. Water consumption and how much space you have are factors that come into play when choosing a water heater that is correctly dimensioned for the home and its use. Should the water heater be in a kitchen cupboard, in the bathroom or in a separate room? There is a big difference in the recommended size of a hot water tank depending on where it is to be placed.

There are heaters that are suitable for most purposes. If you have a long-term plan for waterborne underfloor heating, you should take this into account when choosing a hot water tank. There are boilers that supply the home with tap water and provide the opportunity to connect to waterborne underfloor heating .
